A useful equipment conversation starts with what your practice needs to improve. You do not need to arrive with a product already selected.
Describe the change you want
Write down the task, limitation or planned change that prompted your inquiry. Are you replacing existing equipment, exploring a different workflow or preparing a new space? Explain the outcome you want before comparing models.
Bring the details you already have
- Your practice location and the best person to contact.
- The equipment or technology you are considering.
- Your current setup and any compatibility questions.
- Your preferred timing, including any renovation or installation constraints.
- Who should take part in the next conversation.
If you are unsure about a detail, say so. It can become a question for the discussion.
Agree on the next step
Ask what information is needed to evaluate options, whether a demonstration would be useful, and who will follow up. Confirm model availability and project-specific requirements with the representative.
Explore the equipment categories, then send your inquiry to the BC team. For a new-practice project, see our equipment planning checklist.
